Free n8n Client Handoff Settings and Change Log Template

This free template sits beside a production n8n workflow and gives builders a repeatable structure for client handoff documentation. It includes a Client Settings node for safe editable values, a Change Log Entry node for recording modifications, and a Handoff Checklist node for triggers, inputs, credentials, failure tests, and owner-safe edits. Use it before handing an automation to a non-technical client or internal owner. It is intentionally simple and does not include credentials, paid links, or third-party dependencies. Optional setup is available if someone wants the template adapted into a client-ready handoff document for one workflow.
