Buyer guide

How it works — for buyers

FlowMarket is a marketplace connecting n8n workflow creators with buyers. Here's how to buy with full clarity.

FlowMarket's role

FlowMarket facilitates connections, displays offers, and handles secure payments. The service contract is concluded directly between you and the seller. We are not the technical service provider.

Concretely: the seller delivers, supports, and warrants their offer. FlowMarket only intervenes in cases of reported abuse or manifest fraud, not as a technical arbiter.

The 4 offer types

Every listing belongs to one of these 4 types. Always check which one before buying.

Custom workflow

The seller builds a workflow specific to your needs when a ready-to-import base is not enough.

→ You want automation adapted to your tools, business rules and constraints.

Assisted setup

The seller installs and configures the workflow in your environment, including from a template.

→ You want a ready-to-use workflow without doing the wiring.

Maintenance / managed service

Monthly subscription to keep a workflow running, monitor incidents, and adapt to API changes.

→ You want service continuity beyond initial delivery.

Ready-to-import workflow

You get an n8n JSON file, often from a template, and install it yourself.

→ You know n8n and want a reusable base fast.

What's usually included in installation and maintenance

These are the standard expectations on FlowMarket. A seller may add or remove items — it's specified in the "What you receive" section of each listing.

Standard installation

  • Scoping call (audio or video) to confirm the perimeter
  • Import and configuration of the workflow on your n8n (or via dedicated server access)
  • Account connection using limited access you provide
  • End-to-end test on a real case
  • Basic usage documentation
  • A short post-install review session
Setup guide

Standard maintenance

  • Monitoring of workflow executions and incident alerts
  • Fixes following third-party API changes (Google, Slack, etc.)
  • Small minor evolutions during the covered period
  • Messaging support with announced response time
  • Periodic report (depending on the plan chosen by the seller)

Not included by default: workflow redesign, major new use cases, additional integrations (on quote).

Access security — rules to demand

When a seller installs or maintains a workflow on your side, apply these rules strictly. A serious seller will propose them on their own.

What you NEVER do

  • Give your primary password (n8n, Google, AWS, database, etc.) to anyone.
  • Share a raw API key in plain text, especially via unencrypted messaging or email.
  • Leave access active after the end of the engagement.

What you do instead

  • Installation via video call with screen sharing: you type passwords, the seller guides step by step.
  • Or access to a dedicated server / temporary sandbox you provision specifically for the mission.
  • For APIs: OAuth, service account, or token limited to the permissions strictly needed.
  • All access must be temporary, limited and revocable.
  • Revoke immediately at end of delivery. Enable 2FA everywhere.

FlowMarket does not store sensitive credentials for you or the seller. Security depends on both parties being careful.

Steps of a purchase

  1. 1

    You find an offer

Browse the marketplace, filter by category. On each product page, check the "What you receive" section: included, not included, prerequisites, required access, timeline, external costs.

  2. 2

    You pay via Stripe

Secure card payment. FlowMarket stores no card data. For setup, custom work, or maintenance, the seller takes over after payment. For a ready-to-import JSON file, delivery is immediate in My orders.

  3. 3

    You exchange with the seller

A direct messaging is available. For services, it's your main channel to provide prerequisites, grant access, and validate delivery.

  4. 4

    You receive the delivery

Depending on the type: downloadable JSON file, configuration on your environment, or active subscription. The seller provides associated documentation.

Payment, security and warranties

Payment

Stripe Checkout + Stripe Connect. Visa/Mastercard/Amex and other Stripe-supported methods.

Security

No card data stored on FlowMarket. Workflow JSON files are encrypted at rest.

Support

Contact the seller first via messaging. For a serious dispute, contact FlowMarket support.

FAQ

The most frequent buyer questions.

What exactly is FlowMarket?

A marketplace connecting n8n automation workflow creators with buyers (companies or individuals). FlowMarket facilitates the connection and payment but is not the technical service provider: the service contract is concluded directly with the seller.

Which offer types can I buy?

Four types: custom workflow, assisted setup, maintenance, and ready-to-import JSON file (template possible). See "The 4 offer types" section above.

How do I know what I'll receive before buying?

On each product page, check the "What you receive" section: included, not included, buyer prerequisites, required access, estimated timeline, potential external costs, known limitations. If something is missing, message the seller before purchasing.

How much does a workflow cost?

Sellers set prices freely within a Platform-defined range (currently €5 to €100 for templates). Services such as installation, custom work, and maintenance have their own pricing set by each seller.

How do I pay? Is it secure?

Card payment via Stripe (PCI-DSS certified). FlowMarket never sees or stores card data. Stripe handles the transaction; FlowMarket transfers funds to the seller after deducting commission.

What happens after my payment?

For setup, custom work, or maintenance, you receive a confirmation and the seller contacts you via messaging to start the work within the announced timeline. For a ready-to-import JSON file, delivery is immediate in My orders.

The seller asks for access — what should I do?

Always prefer temporary, limited, revocable access: invitations with minimal rights, limited API keys, guest accounts. Never share your primary password. Revoke access after delivery. FlowMarket does not store sensitive credentials.

The workflow isn't working as expected, what should I do?

Contact the seller first via messaging. Describe expected vs observed behaviour with screenshots. If the offer manifestly doesn't match the description, you can report it to FlowMarket via the Contact page.

Can I get a refund?

For a downloaded JSON file or digital template, the right of withdrawal may be limited (content executed immediately). For an undelivered or non-conforming service, contact the seller first. In B2C, consumer rights remain applicable in certain cases. FlowMarket doesn't arbitrate technical disputes but can intervene in cases of manifest abuse or fraud.

How do I contact the seller?

From each product page or from My orders, open the direct messaging with the seller. It's your main channel for any question, access request, or delivery follow-up.
